What you need:

Beef Brisket

Chili Powder

Ground Coffee

Dried Oregano

Black Pepper

and more...

Combine all dry rub ingredients in a small bowl.

Trim the beef brisket of any fat and pat it dry with paper towels.

Rub the spice mix all over the beef brisket and wrap it in foil.

Put the spice-rubbed beef brisket in the slow cooker or crock pot for 8-9 hours on low.

Remove the beef brisket from the aluminum foil, carve it into thick or thin slices, and serve.

Cooking Tips

Use two pieces of foil placed in a + sign, set the brisket in the center, fold the sides up, and crimple the edges so that there are no air gaps.

Make a gravy with the juices from the beef brisket in the foil by pouring them into a pan with ¼ cup of beef broth and 1 tablespoon of corn flour. Whisk it together until it starts to boil and thicken, then serve it with the tender beef brisket.
