This roast beef sandwich recipe is perfect for a quick and easy lunch or dinner. This delicious sandwich is made with simple ingredients including horseradish, roast beef, caramelized onions, and cheese.
¾poundRoast beef thinly sliced- preferably medium rare
6slicesMedium cheddar cheese thinly sliced
½cupCaramelized onions
Instructions
Use a sharp knife to thinly slice the roast beef.
In a small bowl, prepare the horseradish cream sauce by combining horseradish, mayo, and dijon mustard. Stir and set aside.
Slice buns in half, and toast for a few minutes, until the tops are lightly browned but still soft to the touch.
Slather the buns with horseradish cream sauce on both sides. Add arugula to the bottom half of the bread, then top with roast beef and cheddar cheese.
Top with caramelized onions and close the sandwich. Slice into 6 equal pieces.
