Ingredients
skinless
boneless chicken breasts
salt
pepper
onion powder
chicken broth or water
Instructions
In a high-sided skillet, place chicken breasts in a single layer.
Season the top of each breast with salt, pepper and onion powder.
Pour chicken broth or water over the breasts, it should fully cover the tops of all of the chicken.
Heat over high heat until boiling, then reduce to simmer and cover.
Continue simmering for 15 minutes or until internal temp. reaches about 170 degrees F.
Remove chicken from the broth mixture and shred using two forks. It should shred easily.
If you need broth for your recipe, you can drain the broth used to cook the chicken and reuse it so it doesn't go to waste.
