Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
- 1 lb pasta shells
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1/4 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Cook shells according to package directions.
While the pasta is cooking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add garlic to melted butter and saute until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Add Parmesan cheese, salt & pepper and stir until combined.
Add cream and continue to stir until smooth. Don't allow to boil and make sure you stir constantly.
Drain pasta, return to pot and pour the sauce over the pasta. Stir to coat and serve!
At 8 servings, this is more of a side dish, if you are making it a meal you can expect to only feed 4 people with it. It would be soooo good with a piece of grilled garlic chicken and some seasoned green beans.
