Spicy Sausage and Bean Soup

Ingredients

12 oz package chorizo style sausage - sliced (or your personal favorite)

tablespoon
coconut oil
or olive oil
2-½
cups
water
1
15 oz can tomato sauce
3
teaspoon
minced garlic
1
tablespoon
minced onion
1
teaspoon
cumin
2
teaspoon
dried cilantro
1
teaspoon
black pepper
½
teaspoon
salt
¼-1
tablespoon
chili powder
to taste - you can eliminate to reduce the heat

15 oz cans kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
2
15 oz cans black beans (drained & rinsed)
1
tablespoon
apple cider vinegar
1
tablespoon
worcestershire sauce
1
tablespoon
coconut sugar
or whatever sweetener you prefer

Instructions
In a large saucepan or dutch oven, heat coconut oil over medium heat.
Add minced onions and sausage to pan and saute until lightly browned.
Add water, tomato sauce and all remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer for 15-20 minutes stirring frequently.
Serve as-is or topped with sour cream & cheddar cheese.
