Shoulder Pork Butt

Smoked Paprika

Prepare the rub mixture in a medium bowl by combining the smoked paprika, onion powder, chili powder, cayenne powder, brown sugar, and black pepper.

Trim the pork roast of excess fat and rub the mixture into the meat thoroughly, getting into any crevices.

Place the pork on a rack in a baking tray and place the thermometer into the thickest part of the meat.
