Sweet Earth Foods – the products
I’m super excited because Sweet Earth Foods sent me a variety of their products to sample, and sample I did. It’s a tough job reviewing food products, but someone has to do it. I make this sacrifice for you, my amazing readers.
Aloha BBQ Quesadilla
The Aloha BBQ Quesadilla from Sweet Earth is vegan, contains 7 grams of protein per serving (there are 2 servings per box). They are Hawaiian inspired combining the legendary flavors of tangy BBQ and sweet pineapple with jalapeños, red onion and pinto beans.
If you like pineapple, these quesadillas will not disappoint. Sweet, tangy and spicy at the same time. The flavors combine magically but somehow you can taste each ingredient as well.
Salsa Prime Quesadilla
The Salsa Prime Quesadilla is one of my favorite’s from Sweet Earth Foods. They are vegetarian and contain 12 grams of protein per serving (there are 2 servings per box).
This fiesta style quesadilla contains tomatillo salsa with black beans, corn, vegan chipotle savory grounds, onions and melted cheddar cheese.
My son and I both really liked this quesadilla. It tasted fresh and was the perfect blend of ingredients. It really tasted like enjoying fresh salsa at our favorite restaurant.
Sweet Earth Foods Cauliflower Mac is vegan and contains 8 grams of protein per serving. It is a decadent pasta dish with 5 super foods – roasted cauliflower, sweet potatoes, chickpeas, mushrooms and garlic.
If you like cauliflower, you will love this one! I liked it and I am not even a fan of cauliflower, so there’s pretty much no stronger endorsement than that!
General TSO’s Tofu
General TSO’s Tofu from Sweet Earth Foods contains 10 grams of protein per serving. It’s vegan and made with 5 nourishing super foods – organic tofu, broccoli, ginger, green onion and red chili pepper.
This was my second favorite of all of of the Sweet Earth Foods I tried. The flavors were perfect and tasted fresh and zesty just like an authentic Chinese dish.
The Brazilian Burrito
Sweet Earth’s The Brazilian Burrito is a delicious blend of black beans, brown rice, vegan Tuscan savory grounds, tomatoes and Swiss cheese. It contains 16 grams of protein and has a spicy kick from Chimichurri sauce.
This was delicious! It has a bit of a spicy kick but that good kind of kick that keeps you wanting more.
