Stride Rite has always been synonymous with quality for me. But beyond that, Stride Rite also seems to have a better understanding than all the rest about how best to fit a child’s foot. I always feel confident when my kids are wearing Stride Rite that their shoes are designed to fit them properly to ensure correct growth of their ever-changing and growing feet.
It’s almost back-to-school time (…yay…did I say that?) and Stride Rite is rolling out some great styles for fall. Plus, to help make your back-to-school shopping easier, starting today you can get BUY ONE GET ONE 50% off on all Stride Rite footwear.

Stride Rite has a number of great styles for back-to-school, and they sent me a pair of their boys Mario sneakers to check out.
The Mario is a flashy, attractive shoe just perfect for my son. He can tie his own shoes, but it always seems like the are coming untied so we both prefer no laces, but the traditional 2 strap velcro closure is not our favorite either. The Mario show gives him the appearance of the laces, with a single, slim velcro strap that blends in very well with the shoe.
I haven’t had a chance to try these on him (I forget he was spending the week at Grandma & Grandpa’s house) but we ordered a size 3 and they do look like they run a little big. Perfect for back-to-school because I know he won’t outgrow them before the end of the year. Also, the quality is typical of Stride Rite and the shoe will probably last longer than he will actually fit in it.
I think he will love the style of these shoes and the green accents, especially because Stride Rite calls that green color “ooze” – he’s gonna love that!
About Stride Rite:
Stride Rite footwear has always been developed with the highest of standards, backed by the latest research and technology, which moms have come to trust since 1919. Stride Rite is committed to providing a helpful shopping experience that enables moms to make the ‘rite’ shoe decision to meet the developmental needs of their children’s feet among a stylish selection of quality Stride Rite options.
Fact: Up until age five, a child’s foot is still forming and is mostly cartilage, making it easy for parents to accidentally squeeze feet into ill-fitting shoes. The effects of childhood foot damage can show up in posture and walking gait even in the early 20s. The 20th shoe is just as important as the 1st.
