Comment: I would probably end up playing with: Item: 42039 Pony Riding Set
What young boy doesn’t like dinosaurs?
Even my daughter likes them.
So when we opened up the second item we were sent to review from Schleich, everyone was excited, even me (the first products we reviewed were the Schleich Airplane and the Schleich Indian Elephant and Calf you can enter to win some wild life action figures in that post as well).
Cause frankly…it was COOL.
Giganotosaurus lumbered on long legs.
Potentially more powerful than T-Rex, Giganotosaurus was about forty feet long, weighing in at eight tons. Featuring small spikes and broad spots on its back, this dinosaur was very distinct in appearance. Feeding on plant feeders, Giganotosaurus had three claws at the end of his short arms. Scientists suspect that Giganotosaurus could sprint swiftly thanks to its slim tail which was held up, unlike other dinosaurs.
Fun Facts: Giganotosaurus had a banana-sized brain.
The Schleich Giganotosaurus is so incredibly real looking. The attention to detail is amazing and it really is a quality toy. It is at 1:40 scale and comes with a small man figure so kids can see exactly how large these animals are claimed to have been. You get a great sense of scale looking at them together.
Apparently it can also serve as food…..
Kids can feel the Giganotosaurus’s scaly skin and sharp looking teeth and get lost in their imaginations. The realism makes it easy to imagine not only how big these creatures were but also how they looked and would have felt if they could have touched them.
My son is having a world of fun playing with this guy. The Giganotosaurus has been seen around the house terrorizing dolls, stuffed animals and even the dog.
