When it comes to making lunches for my kids, especially during the school year, it can be quite a challenge, especially with my daughter. She isn’t at all a sandwich and chips kind of kid, which I actually really love, but it can make assembling a lunch a bit tricky. In the past we have tried using silicone muffin liners inside a re-usable plastic container and it worked but I prefer to avoid plastic especially because after repeated use it gets kind of gross. Plus, the muffin liners don’t contain the food very well and it ends up all mixed together. Which makes my daughter very unhappy. I had found a stainless steel container but it had some of the same limitations because I still had to use the muffin liners in it because it was a single compartment.
And then I discovered PlanetBox.
And it changed everything.
PlanetBox lunch boxes are made from non-toxic stainless steel, eco-friendly and easy to clean. No BPA. No phthalates. No lead. They come in different sizes for different needs and the pre-divided compartments helps keep her food from mixing together. PlanetBox lunch boxes are also customizable making them fresh and fun for both kids and adults.
The PlanetBox itself comes in three different sizes, Shuttle, Rover and Launch. Rover is perfect for my daughter’s lunch while Launch would be better for my pre-teen son or an adult lunch. Shuttle is snack sized. Once you select the right size PlanetBox, you then move on to choose your accessories. Accessories include water bottles, backpacks, carry bags, magnets, cold kits, utensils and more.
We received the Rover box which included a Little Dipper and Big Dipper container with lid for more liquid type foods like yogurt and sauces or tiny foods like nuts. We also received a carry bag and a set of magnets.
My daughter loved the magnets.
I love them too.
PlanetBox is the perfect solution for our needs. It makes me happy to choose a safer product for my kids and it makes them happy because they think it is fun. And it has an added bonus of inspiring my kids to make their own lunches which saves me time as well.
How would PlanetBox be a good fit for your family?
