Pizza IS healthy, right?
Tomato sauce is a vegetable.
Meat & cheese has protein.
If you are one of those strange people who put veggies on TOP of the pizza, well that’s healthy too, right?
Ok, maybe I am stretching it but for me pizza is about my mental health. It is the one food I will never, ever stop eating. I don’t have it often, but when I do, I want it good.
I want my pizza from a place where they have proven time and again that their pizza tastes great and that their quality is top-notch.
For me, one of those places has always been Aurelio’s Pizza.
Aurelio’s Pizza is a chain of family-owned and franchise restaurants located mostly in Illinois and Indiana, with 40 locations in 6 states across the US.
And the one near me has a gluten-free pizza crust! So I do indulge every once in awhile. Because I like to put a little bit of life into living.
Aurelio’s Pizza was founded on family tradition by Joe Aurelio Jr. in 1959 and has since become a tradition for many families who love and appreciate great pizza.
In order to celebrate family tradition, Aurelio’s is running an essay contest for 4th grade students where they can enter to win great prizes including a pizza party for their class.
Family Traditions Essay Contest
We’re bringing the Aurelio’s Pizza Family Tradition Essay Contest to 4th grade classes in your area. Entering is easy–your whole family simply talks about the traditions you have, and then the student of the household writes a 300-word essay about it.
If you submit a winning essay, your whole class gets a pizza party! You can even tell your teacher about the contest so your whole class can participate. That means even more essays and an even better chance for your class to win the pizza party.
- Class pizza party
- Free family dinner from Aurelio’s Pizza
- $100 gift card for room supplies
- Free family dinner at Aurelio’s Pizza
- Free large pizza from Aurelio’s Pizza
The contest has been extended through November 15, 2013.
In the meantime, I have a $50 Aurelio’s Gift Card to give away!
