There is something special about smoothies and deliciously blended beverages in the morning. It is quite possibly my favorite way to start the day, right before I have a whole pot of coffee to myself. If I don’t have a smoothie in the morning, I won’t eat until lunch. I’ve been doing everything I can to change that. For my health now and in the future.
My latest protein smoothie find is Kura Nutrition Smoothie Starters, which provide the best foundation for a smoothie that I’ve ever tried. Add in your favorite drink, the smoothie mix, and any add-ins that you like.
This is like a smoothie mixture made for me. I love the versatility, you can add in fruits and veggies, or even some goodies like I did in the recipe below.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Smoothie
This does not taste like a protein-packed smoothie. At all. It will make your morning so much brighter.
- 2 Cups Ice
- 1 Cup Soy Milk
- 1 Packet Kura Vanilla Smoothie Starter
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- Add ice, soy milk and Kura smoothie starter in blender. Blend until ice is completely blended.
- Add in the dark chocolate chips and peanut butter, blend until the smoothie reaches the desired consistency.
- Serve and enjoy.
You’re going to love it. It is amazingly simple, and mighty filling. It is doable when you are half asleep in the morning, making cereal for the kids and finding socks. That kind of good.
As a mother and wife, I find myself wanting to make sure everyone is happy and content every morning. With Kura I don’t feel like I have to pass on my own well being. It’s an extremely empowering feeling. I’m sure the protein helps quite a bit in this case.
