Burn off some calories before the meal with this Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloon Fitness Challenge!
Thanksgiving is a time for celebrating the things that truly matter. It’s a time for being thankful for the blessings and the people in our lives. It’s a time to remember people less fortunate than yourself. And it’s a time for eating lots and lots of delicious carb and sugar filled goodness.
Which means it’s also a time to buy bigger pants.
But with a little bit of fitness, you can help prevent the eventual need to unbutton your pants after Thanksgiving dinner. Or at least give you justification to eat more pie. Because who doesn’t love pie?
Now, I realize that it’s a busy time. It’s hard to hit the gym when you are preparing for guests or travel or all the other crazy chaos that happens this time of year. But don’t you worry, I’ve got you covered with my Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloon Fitness Challenge.
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloon Fitness Challenge
The challenge is simple.
- Watch the parade.
- See the balloon.
- Do the assigned exercise.
Since you may be busy during the parade getting that delicious turkey ready, just hand your kids the sheet and have them let you know when they see each balloon. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to get the whole family involved in the workout anyway. When they see the balloon, everyone stops what they are doing and performs the exercise associated with that balloon.
Well, I may be stretching that definition, but you really will burn some great calories doing it. Probably enough for an extra slice of pie with whipped cream.

The PDF should print easily to your default print size without having to change anything. It prints to an 8-1/2 x 11 size sheet which is standard paper size.
- Use cardstock so it holds up!
- Consider getting a laser printer for your printables, they have come way down in price. I use a Dell color laser printer and it’s fantastic.
