Low Carb Instant Pot Hot Wings
Ingredients:
For the Wings:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup Frank's RedHot Original Hot Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons lime juice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper
- 1 Tablespoon avocado oil (optional)
Did you know that you can buy a bunch of pantry staples at Amazon.com? This helps make my shopping trips so much easier because I only need to shop for my produce, refrigerated and frozen foods. No need to go into the middle aisles of the grocery store at all!
Some of their items have free Prime shipping, some you can get a flat rate if you use Prime Pantry. This saves me so much time.
For the Ranch dip:
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup flat leaf parsley, chopped
- 3 fresh chives, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
It's super easy to make these wings, you can choose to brown the wings or not, that's a matter of preference, but you can do it right in your Instant Pot using the saute setting.

Directions:
- Season the wings with salt and pepper, then pour the hot sauce over top. Marinade for 2 hours or overnight, if possible, but you can make these right away if you're crunched for time.
- Optional browning in lieu of marinade: I like to brown the skin on my wings, but you don't have to. Place 1 Tablespoon of oil into the Instant Pot and select "sauté." When the oil is hot, add just the wings and sear for 2 minutes each side. Turn off the sauté setting and add the hot sauce, lime juice, and garlic to the Instant Pot.
- If you don't care to brown them, just place the wings, marinade and additional ingredients directly into the pot at the same time.
- Seal the Instant Pot and set to "Manual" for 5 minutes. Release pressure for at least 10 minutes before removing the lid.
- While the wings are cooking, combine the ranch dip ingredients and chill until ready to use.
- Serve the wings with the ranch dip and plenty of napkins!

Oh so good.
You don't even have to have a party to enjoy these. Seriously, wings for one is a thing.
