Lemi Shine natural cleaners can clean all the surfaces of your home.
There’s a word to describe people like me. Well, there are plenty of words for someone like me.
- Obsessive
- Neat
- Cleanly
- Compulsive
- Picky
- Fanatical
- Controlling
- Freak
Yes, folks, I am a freak. A clean freak.
Which means mornings around here, as my kids get ready for school, make me twitchy, because my kids are anything but clean.
It starts with the handprints on the fridge. Seriously?
I don’t even want to know what was on their hand that would have caused a slimy handprint.
Then they make their lunches.
Hopefully, some of that got on the actual sandwich.
At least they put their dishes away. I guess.
Even if they failed to rinse them out first, and somehow managed to spill most of it down the front of the dishwasher. Mind. Blown.
My kids apparently follow in their father’s footsteps practicing the “we can clean it up later” philosophy as opposed to the “an ounce of prevention” methodology that drives my entire personality. I like things clean. I think it scares people to be in my home because they believe that I might yell at them for not using a coaster or if they forget to remove their shoes. But I’m ok with that. Keeps them on their toes.
So as soon as my kids leave for school, I tackle the shrapnel and sticky goo they left in their wake. Usually with a perplexed look on my face and a crinkled up nose, um, what’s that smell?
I’ve been using natural cleaners for my home for a couple of years now. It’s important to me that the cleaning products I use are safe for my kids and my pets (and the environment) but it’s also important to me that they work. It’s bad enough that I have to clean up after “we can clean it up later” types, but if it takes extra effort to clean because the product just isn’t effective, well that’s a huge problem. I like things clean, that doesn’t mean that I like to clean. There’s a huge distinction there.
So it probably comes as no surprise that I was super excited to partner with Lemi Shine to try their line of safe and powerful cleaning products. Lemi Shine Products contain 100% natural citric extracts. They are non-toxic, biodegradable, and don’t contain any questionable chemicals. And, they work great!
Lemi Shine has a full range of products to help keep my house up to my clean standards. The Lemi Shine Glass + Surface Cleaner made quick cleanup of that dirty handprint and the PB&J on the counter. I like the way the bottle sprayed. It seems like such a silly thing, but it had excellent coverage and sprinkled out just the right amount. I’m sure all you clean freaks can relate to the joy you get from how a cleaning product sprays out of the bottle. It also made the front of my dishwasher look like new, and I used it to clean up the floor around the dishwasher and a weird spot on the kitchen table that was so sticky, it took a second to get my hand back. It has a smudge and dust resistant barrier, so I intend to use it throughout the house.
I used the Lemi Shine Dishwasher Cleaner the next day after I emptied it and used the Lemi Shine Dishwasher Detergent and both seemed to do an excellent job. I do hand wash a few items during the week, although I haven’t had a chance to use the Lemi Shine Dish Soap yet. But I did smell it because that’s what I do. All of the Lemi Shine products have a fresh, clean smell. They aren’t perfumey, they just smell natural. I’m excited to try the Lemi Shine Dishwasher Detergent Booster because my glasses and utensils always come out with spots on them.
I tackled the drain pan of the water dispenser in my fridge a little unconventionally. I was reading the Lemi Shine Shower + Tile Cleaner bottle, and it mentioned that it cleans and prevents grime and hard water build-up. I’ve never been able to clean the drain pan entirely, even when I remove it and wash it in the sink with dish soap. The caked on hard water residue always remains. So I decided to try using the Lemi Shine Shower + Tile Cleaner.
The results speak for themselves.
It wiped right off! I made a second application for the small amount that remained and it came off as well. I can’t tell you how happy it made me to see this thing clean finally!
Next stop, the kid’s bathroom. I thought the kitchen was bad. Every morning, in addition to the toothpaste in the sink, they manage to get gunk on the wall and the mirror. What kind of gunk will remain a mystery because I just don’t think I want to know. Lemi Shine to the rescue!
Once the kids are off to school and I have cleaned up the kitchen and the bathroom, my day can indeed begin with a cup of coffee and that feeling that only a clean freak will understand – the satisfaction of a job well done. And done well thanks to Lemi Shine!
