I finished out week 2 of INSANITY! Yeah!
I am proud to say I never missed a day of the program and the last couple days I pushed myself to the next level, past where I thought I was as far as I could go. I was beat afterwards, but it was worth it.
I feel great and can’t say enough about Shaun T. and Insanity.
Today is a day off, but after working so hard all week I couldn’t just sit around so I spent 10 minutes on my treadmill at 6 mph and 10 minutes on my stationary bike.
I can’t wait til tomorrow! A fit test to compare to my pre-Insanity fit test to see how I have improved so far, and another great workout.
In the meantime, I have an updated progress photo:
I have noticed a big difference in the shape of things and while I still haven’t lost any weight, I think I am definitely toning and replacing fat with muscle. My arms and shoulders are gaining so much strength and I can see new muscle definition forming.

By the way, the heart rate watch I bought is awesome! It takes getting used to having the strap around me, but it’s worth being able to constantly monitor your heart rate and see how many calories you burned. I burned 711 calories during Saturday’s Insanity workout!
