Today was the Pure Cardio INSANITY workout. There was no grey line until the end. For those of you not familiar with the program, during each workout, there is a graph across the bottom of the screen that guides you sort of to what is coming next and with Shaun T’s interval training usually you get a 30 second break frequently that is represented by a grey bar on the graph. Not today. With Pure Cardio you don’t get a scheduled break. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stop if your body is telling you to, it just means that you don’t have to.
I felt so good today!
I actually did the scissor push-ups which are regular push-ups but you spread your feet apart as you go down and bring them together as you come up. Before Insanity I could barely do one real push-up, now I’m doing all these crazy ones.
I don’t have a lot lot else to say today, except that I found this great support group via the Beachbody WOWY Gym that has a group on Facebook and they all started Insanity the same day I did. It’s so cool to talk to them everyday knowing they are doing the same thing I am, and many of them are as nutty as me and get up at 5:30 am.
Oh and it’s totally not nice of Trisha to post this recipe when I’m trying to eat better…I love Olive Garden: Olive Garden Copy Cat Recipe Salad Dressing
Note: I was sent the INSANITY workout program to try and share my feedback on my blog. The sweat, and opinions produced during my use of the program are my own.
