Last night I had another crazy moment where I woke up in a panic at 3:30 am thinking I missed my INSANITY workout.
I wish my brain would stop messing with me.
This morning I did the day 4 workout. It was the cardio recovery day meaning Shaun T. killed me with stretching and squats and lunges. It was kind of an easier day in that it wasn’t cardio, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a workout. My legs were like rubber afterwards.
One of the things that originally captured my attention about this program was the trainer who runs it, Shaun T. This guy has that special something that really makes it feel like he cares about your health and fitness but also that he understands it’s not easy. I connect with him and he’s very motivating.
He’s also very pretty.

I ordered a new watch so I can check my heart rate. I’ve never done that before just relied on my body’s signals to direct me, but with INSANITY I think it’s more important to make sure I’m in the right zone for maximum results. I wanted a watch with a strapless heart rate monitor and that also tracked my calories burned and I found this one on Amazon for a GREAT PRICE ($60 everywhere else, but only $35 on Amazon):
And I’m already impressed with their customer service. I had a question about how exactly to track calories burned so I went on the MIO website and used their contact form to ask. They responded in like 10 minutes from my original email.
I can’t wait it try it out tomorrow during my workout.
