This past week was recovery week on INSANITY.
Seriously though, it wasn’t an easy workout, but I definitely was not as fatigued at the end as I was after each workout in the first month.
It felt good to take it slow and while the word “pulse” is now one of my least favorite words – the last 10 minutes of each day during recovery week involved holding up legs and arms and such and “pulsing” them slowly for a minute at a time. Sounds easy? Try it.
Tomorrow morning I have to get up at 5 am in order to do my next fit test and start month two with the Max Interval Circuit. It totals 86 minutes for the entire thing.
But I’m ready for it!
I can’t wait to see if I will burn over 1,000 calories in fell swoop tomorrow.
Below is my progress photo I took this morning. I’m proud to say I lost 1″ in my waist and 1 1/2″ in my hips from last weeks measurements. I also lost 1/4″ in my thighs and my biceps since last week.
I’m not sure if you can tell, but the front of my shorts is now a little baggy. They are spandex and BAGGY in front unless I pull them up like Steve Urkel.
I am sooooo excited to start month 2. A little scared, but excited!

Note: I was sent the INSANITY workout program to try and share my feedback on my blog. The sweat, and opinions produced during my use of the program are my own.
