I felt terrible when I got up this morning to workout. I have 2 weeks left of INSANITY and this morning was another fit test.
I had no energy, my stomach was upset and I was incredibly tired, more so than I have ever felt the whole previous month and a half I have been doing Insanity.
Yet I persevered, confident I would overcome and get a second wind.
I *only* burned 905 calories today.
I know what you are thinking – ONLY?
In addition to the fit test was a normal full Insanity workout and the total workout time should have been 86 minutes. Well after the fit test, knowing I was already beat, I skipped the warmup for the actual workout (since I was already warmed up) but still couldn’t get my heart rate in the right zone. That number should have easily been over 1,000 calories.
But at least I finished, because EVERY SINGLE MOVE was mentally and physically exhausting. I was talking to myself the whole time, pushing myself forward. JUST FINISH. JUST FINISH.
My fit test results reflect my exhaustion.
But again, I finished and burned 905 calories so I really can’t complain too much.
