Things have started to settle down around here, and we’re slowly getting into the school groove. Something interesting happens whenever I sit down with the girls to read. Michael will give me a sly look and then take off. At first, I ignored it. But then, I started to hear paper rustling. When I walked into the kitchen, he would be standing on the little counter between the stove and fridge. Again, a sly look on his face.
We had moved any candy to a dish on the top of the fridge. The bananas were up there too. Why? Because Michael would eat every single banana if they were within reach. Candy, too, of course. After a few days, I reached up and found this:
Here’s my mouse.
I think we need to get another cat.
