I am proud to be a part of a sponsored campaign with hello. Opinions are my own and products were provided to me.
A few years ago when my daughter began to be allergic to many of the ingredients in our food, we began to take a good, hard look at the ingredients in all of the products we use at home, not just the ones we eat. Shampoo. Household cleaners. Deodorant. Soap. Toothpaste. Pretty much anything that gets ingested, applied, inhaled, etc.
So many of the products we use and eat every day are filled with non-natural ingredients that aren’t actually necessary to make something taste good or work great. And often these ingredients have a questionable effect on the human body. Some of them are allergens, some of them have known potential health problems and others just haven’t been tested enough one way or the other. As we began to learn more about what ingredients we may want to avoid we decided that if there were natural products that worked just as well as the others, why risk exposing our kids (and ourselves) to things that aren’t natural?
Even just a few years ago, the process of switching to natural products was a bit more daunting, especially in rural Indiana. The few brands that did exist just weren’t readily available, even trying to shop online. But in the advent of recent awareness regarding the benefits of switching to natural products, some amazing new brands have become available to make it much easier for me to feel like I am doing the best I can to provide healthier, safer products for my family.
Hello is one such brand.
Hello Products are naturally friendly oral care products that are good for our planet, good for our bodies and help alleviate the struggles parents have trying to get their kids to brush. I think hello products are going to make my life a whole lot easier!
As a company, hello has a mission to make the world a friendlier place.
hello is not just a brand. hello is a group of people committed to a bold and simple idea: that things shouldn’t suck. they shouldn’t be frustrating. or ugly. and they definitely shouldn’t force you to choose between what’s good for you and what you love. you should have both.
I. Love. This.
It has been such a struggle for us to find that balance where we don’t have to choose between something good for us OR something that we love. It’s rare to find a product that fills both needs. Because where kids are involved it does matter that love it. Or else they won’t use it, which makes parenting that much more challenging. And when it’s something as important as oral care products that they use every day, beginning and ending each day with an argument is frustrating at best.
