As much as Halloween seems to revolve around candy, there are situations where candy is not feasible, especially with the onslaught of allergies and other medical issues. Besides, it’s not healthy. The thing is, kids can have a TON of fun without candy on Halloween.
The scavenger hunt below can serve as both ideas for a candy-free Halloween and a fun game for those participating in a non-candy Halloween. I do have a scavenger hunt that uses candy; you can find that here: Halloween Candy Scavenger Hunt printable.
A pretty great way for kids who can’t have (or whose parents don’t want them to have) candy to enjoy Halloween. There are a few snack items on there that may contain allergens like gluten, but there are only a few, and if they collect them, you can donate anything they can’t have to Operation Gratitude who will send the candy to the troops. I’ve made it easy to download and print this by creating a PDF. I’ve also made a light colored version, so your printer doesn’t explode printing all that black ink.
