The Christmas season should be spent savoring the lights and decorations. Enjoying the yummy foods and gathering with family. It should not be spent running around all stressed and anxious about everything that you have to get done.
Well BlueMountain.com is here to help with their new Facebook application called Got Joy?.
After you click “get started” the Got Joy? app will take you through a series of questions about yourself to discover your holiday style so it can provide you with time-saving tips customized for your holiday style.
The first question is about your shopping habits. I shop online and generally have a plan, but also look for the best deals to spark my gift giving inspiration.
The next question is about cooking. My husband does most of the cooking, but I try and help and often family brings extra dishes as well. My husband experiments and makes fancy stuff, I stick to the basics – mainly so I don’t set anything on fire.
The next question is about decorating and wrapping gifts. I try to wrap in a single evening after the kids have gone to bed and get it done in one fell swoop. As for decorations, we have a lot and love setting them up through the house, usually one weekend day after Thanksgiving.
The last question is about socializing. I don’t. I answered that I attend one party a season because I am going to help with my son’s school Christmas party today. For 1 hr. That’s about my limit. As for hosting parties, we often host our family Christmas and will again this year.
And my results?
