Every dog deserves some treats for Halloween but they really should earn them like Simon did – with a completely humiliating costume.
Because no one can resist a dog in a costume.
But you can’t give your dog candy for Halloween. It’s not at all good for them and chocolate can actually be deadly. So if you want to include your furry family members in the fun festivities, instead opt for treats designed for them, but make them festive for Halloween!
Why should this cuteness be left out of the tasty part of Halloween?
It’s easy to put together some yummy, yet safe goodies for your furry friends and any other neighborhood pets who happen to come to your door trick-or-treating this Halloween.
DIY Halloween Doggie Edible Treat Bowls
What you need: large muffin pan, assorted dog treats, multi-purpose flour, canned pumpkin or applesauce, cinnamon, sandwich bags (the kind you seal with a twist-tie), Halloween ribbon.
How to make:
Using an inverted muffin pan, make edible treat “bowls” using 1 cup flour, 4-6 oz. canned pumpkin (or applesauce) & 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
Let the bowls cool, then place assorted treats into the edible bowl. You can use store-bought treats or even use the same recipe as the bowl and make your own.
Put the bowl into a sandwich baggie and tie a Halloween ribbon around the top to make a completely edible treat for furry trick-or-treaters (baggie & ribbon not edible).
Pass out these adorable DIY Halloween Doggie Edible Treat Bowls to all of the furry trick-or-treaters that come your way on Halloween!
