This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of DishFish. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have to admit that I have far more cooking mishaps than most people.
Minor explosions that leave food on the ceiling.
Lots of burnt on food; one so bad, the pan had to be thrown out.
So, while you probably aren’t as dangerous in the kitchen as I am, I’m willing to bet that cleaning pans is not your idea of a good time.
Yeah, mine either.
Especially when it comes to scrambled eggs. I can’t seem to scramble eggs without getting them caked onto the pan. And actually getting the pan clean requires Herculean efforts, and a lot of bad words. Not to mention a vow to never, ever, make scrambled eggs again.
What a pain to clean!
DishFish Cleaning Tools
So when I was introduced to a new product call DishFish, I was intrigued. Skeptical but intrigued.
DishFish is the ULTIMATE dish cleaning tool that cleans better than your current sponge. It was designed to tackle tough messes like baked on scrambled eggs without crumbling or breaking down. DishFish cuts through tough messes fast, gets in all the nooks and crannies and doesn’t scratch you pans. Plus, DishFish practically cleans itself eliminating trapped foods and water that cause odors and bacteria.
Can DishFish clean my baked on eggs faster and easier, and prevent me from threatening my cast iron pan with a trip to the smelter if it doesn’t cooperate?
Let’s find out!
DishFish comes in two different varieties, a straight scrubber tool and a dual sponge with a scrubber on one side. I figured I’d need the big guns for the eggs and armed myself with the DishFish Scrubber.
How to clean eggs off cast iron with DishFish
First, a little bit of water. You don’t use soap on cast iron, just water and a sponge.
Then commence to scrubbing.
First pass, not bad. One handed and the eggs came off easily.
Second pass, just as easy.
In all my years of cleaning scrambled eggs off cast iron, it has never been this easy. It’s like wiping up liquid.
Dump the water and finish the job.
Whoa, so clean!
I was so super impressed with DishFish. It really was that easy to clean the scrambled eggs off my pan. It was like they hadn’t even been baked on to begin with.
DishFish works great on grease too!
After seeing how well the DishFish Scrubber took care of my baked on eggs, I knew I had to try the DishFish Dual on my greasy sausage pan. Grease is easier, in general, to clean that eggs, but I still always end up finding grease still on the pan the next time I use it. Ew.
So I took my sausage pan (sauteed in butter), and went to work.
The DishFish sponge is nothing short of miraculous. I could feel the difference as wiped the pan clean.
It got every last bit of grease with very little effort. It’s safe to say that DishFish is my new favorite kitchen cleaning tool!
