It’s always a challenge when my kids come home after school wanting a snack. It’s going to be a little while before dinner and I understand that they are hungry. And of course we very rarely agree on what makes an appropriate snack. They want something fun that tastes like a treat. I want something that I can actually feel good about serving them.
So it’s nice when we can meet in the middle and actually agree on something. What’s even better is when I can actually enjoy it right along with them.
Silk® Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative is plant powered nutrition made with real fruit. It doesn’t have any artificial colors or flavors and it tastes smooth and creamy.
Silk Dairy-Free is a yogurt alternative made from soy, not dairy and it has 6 grams of plant-powered protein per serving. It comes in 6 great flavors, contains no cholesterol, dairy, lactose, gluten, carrageenan or casein and is an excellent source of calcium and vitamin D.
And it tastes great too!
In order to add some fun and flair to their after-school-snack (and mine), I made a creamy peanut butter parfait dipper using a pretzel log as a dipping stick. It was yummy.
