Bible Jumble for Kids contains everyone’s favorite classic jumble puzzles but with clues and answers that come from the Bible. It is for kids 8 and older, but my 6 year old is enjoying the book (he’s a bit precocious).
Each page contains a jumble puzzle that relates to a scripture passage, with a box of 5 random clues, and 5 jumbles that you use to help figure out the mystery clue. While it is for kids, I still found it challenging enough to work a few of them out for myself. In addition to traditional jumble puzzles, the book also contains Jumble Criss-Cross, that resembles crossword puzzles, Find the Jumble, that resembles word search puzzles and Bible Passage Jumble, that actually just displays the Bible passage and doesn’t contain direct clues.
There is a lot of variety and a lot of fun to be had with this book, and I really like the fact that each puzzle references a Bible verse so my son can look it up and read as he figures out the puzzle. It’s a great learning tool, and the perfect way to get him excited about reading the Bible.
