Yesterday wasn’t bad. It was my first day following ‘The 21 Day Sugar Detox‘ by Diane Sanfilippo.
I am heading out to the grocery store today so I didn’t eat as much as I probably should have because we are low on everything, but I also wasn’t walking around starving either.
Two cups of coffee with heavy cream and coconut oil. This filled me up, it usually does because of the fat content.
Three poached eggs and two ounces of cheese and some hot tea. This filled me up as well. I wanted some tomatoes but they are still green. I’m also a tomato snob after tasting how good the ones from my garden are,
Organic whole chicken with roasted cauliflower and carrots. I ate a lot of veggies. They were seasoned and had olive oil and butter on them. I was stuffed and not hungry at all after dinner, which is fairly normal for me.
I have found in general that some days I am just not as hungry and other days I can devour everything in sight. Today was one of the not very hungry days and I generally don’t eat unless I am actually hungry.
I did the video below right after lunch (my hands were cold…) with some observations about hidden sugars.
Day 1 is in the books and was positive for me despite that loss of my favorite sausage…
